Gite Solterre is located in the department of Tarn in the Midi-Pyrenees region of France amongst the vineyards of the famous Gaillac wine producing area. This area is full of gently rolling hills, green valleys and delightful medieval villages (bastides) and is often referred to as a ‘French Tuscany’. Some call it the “golden triangle” between Albi, Gaillac and Cordes-sur-Ciel.
It is a perfect holiday base to explore the region full of history and natural beauty – forests, mountains, hilltop villages, great full and wine, Mediterranean atmosphere and climate. We love this region as well because of its people — very friendly and welcoming.
Gite Solterre was converted in 2009 from an old winery into a luxurious two bedroom accommodation with a spacious lounge, private jacuzzi pool and walled terrace. The gite and the nearby owner’s house are overlooking vineyards of Gaillac.
